“401 Gives” Makes a Difference!

THANK YOU to all our supporters who made our first “401 Gives” campaign a success! Between 6:00am on April 1st and 6:00pm on April 2nd, 27 donors participated. We benefitted from matches from The Rhode Island Foundation and the Papitto Opportunity Connection as well. Our final total came in at $1,400!

Your support makes it possible for us to aid local shelters, rescues, and struggling pet owners. Over the past 15 months, we're proud to say that we've helped provide veterinary care and other emergency resources to more than 35 local organizations and pets in need, like Oreo and Bello featured above.

Bonded seniors Bello & Oreo went into a hardship foster in January when their owner lost his home. This week, they began the next phase of their journey, moving to Four Dogs Senior Animal Rescue, a local sanctuary for senior dogs. Caring for seniors gets very expensive, and both Bello and Oreo are in need of dental surgeries. We are committed to continuing to help the rescue with their ongoing care costs.
