Save Lives in Less Than a Minute on April 1st!

Requests for financial assistance arrived every day of the past week. Veterinary care is becoming more expensive, just as lay-offs and inflation are on the rise. These circumstances are hard enough on families, but with tough decisions, it’s often pets who suffer most.

We need your help to save them! It doesn’t take much time, effort, or even money to make a difference. Simply mark your calendars for April 1st and log-in to our 401 Gives page that day to make your contribution go farther!

Rhode Island Pet Network doesn’t have our own facility or even our own adoptable animals. What we do is behind the scenes, one family or shelter and one animal at a time. If a pet is sick, injured, or in need of end-of-life care, we can act quickly, and we can bring peace of mind to guardians.

We’re run by just a handful of volunteers. Every contribution is vital to our operation! For 401 Gives, the amount of donors is just as important as the total raised. Generous foundations offer matching opportunities for groups who receive a minimum number of donors.

Do you have a pet-friendly workplace? A family of animal lovers? Charitable friends? You can run your own fundraiser, aka P2P (peer to peer) to benefit our mission! Just hit the fundraise button on our profile to get started at any time. We’re happy to share your page to our social media and give a shout-out to everyone who participates this way, too!

401 Gives begins at 6:00am on the 1st and runs through 6pm on April 2nd. Early birds can increase their donations at the opening with a match from the Papitto Opportunity Connection! You can see all the matching opportunities here.

Help us entice donors by making a match! Whether you own a business or want to personally make an impact, your offer to match incoming funds is a great way to encourage new donors to be part of 401 Gives. Even if you don’t have funds on hand, a special prize off is a great option, too.

We’re so grateful to all of you who have been part of our journey since we became a nonprofit just a few years ago. Times are tough right now, and it’s easy to get overwhelmed by the need. Knowing you’re here to support us is all the motivation we require to keep going – and we’re excited to see what you will accomplish on April 1st!
