Our Mission: How Funds Are Used at RIPN

In our first year as a 501c3 nonprofit organization, we are thrilled to have funds to directly assist animals in our community! Our focus remains on pets with immediate medical or behavioral needs. When time is of the essence, donations can be life-saving for individual pet guardians, shelters and rescues who need to urgently fund treatments.

We are able to give supplies and monetary donations because of the generosity of our supporters during fundraising events and through direct donations. In recent months, our 2022 Holiday Drive and 2023 “Woof You Be Mine” fundraiser have allowed us to contribute to the care of multiple animals and organizations. Click here for a list of recipients.

Would you like to join our mission? Each donation directly supports animals in our community. We appreciate all your assistance in helping every pet, whether adoptable or adopted, find the care he or she needs.

Check out just a couple of our animal ambassadors who are on the road to recovery, thanks to our generous supporters!

  • Lakota, Operation Pawsability Project

Lakota underwent cancer treatment while awaiting adoption. We were able to donate to her medical costs from funds raised at “Woof You Be Mine” in February 2023.

  • Socks, Second Chance Cats of Kent County

Socks was rescued by a Second Chance Cats of Kent County volunteer after being abandoned outside this winter. He was near death when found. RIPN was able to donate directly to his emergency medical care. Now he is healing through his Ten Lives Cat Rescue foster home and Socks has a new lease on life!
